The value of these books run from a couple dollars each and up, depending on the title, condition., Purchased from an estate sale. Each volume is stamped "redcroft edition", on the back cover, and although they were labeled "Little Leather Library", they were actually bound in a limp canvas cloth which resembles oxidized copper in its patina. Subsequent editions were the same size, but bound less expensively. The original edition of 101 volumes were 3 1/4 '" x 4", bound in and were marketed through magazines and direct mail. The Little Leather Library Corporation published several miniature editions of the classics, starting in 1916.
